Heavy flooding along China’s Xiangjiang River

Orange Island is almost completely inundated after heavy rains swelled the Xiangjiang River in Changsha. The flood peak was expected at 2pm on July 2, when the waters were forecast to reach 39.5 meters above normal levels.
