Man in a hurry sparks subway panic
When Shenzhen Metro Line 1 stopped at Science Museum Station on August 13, a man broke into a run as he got off the train. Other passengers started to panic and ran off the train too, startling people on the platform.
Nothing suspicious was found later by subway staff. The man had simply been in a hurry.
"We should stay calm, and be vigilant in an emergency. We shouldn't run because it will cause a panic," said Shen Heng, the master of Science Museum Station. Passengers can always contact the driver via the intercom on the train if they are worried.
