2017 China-friendly International Netizen's Group Tours NE China

Hi there! How are you? I’m Duggy Day and I’m from Scotland in the UK. Over the next few days, I’m going to be touring northeastern China with a group of journalists from various countries, including places like Italy, Bulgaria, France, Russia, Israel, Albania, Pakistan and Portugal and Vietnam.

We are going to be visiting a group of award-wining Chinese companies and also an expo called the China Northeast Asia Expo, which has been organized by six counties in northeastern Asia. The countries are China, Mongolia, Japan, North and South Korea and Russia.

Our tour has been named the 2017 China-friendly Netizen’s Group and it started on August 31st in the city of Changchun in Jilin Province. We are actually in Changchun at the moment, and today, we visited a famous car and truck manufacturer called the FAW Group Corporation, which actually built the first truck in China way back in 1956. Our day started at the Songyuan Hotel in Changchun, where our group of journalists attended the opening ceremony for our tour. It’s called the 2017 China-friendly Netizen’s Group Tour. The event was attended by many people, including members of the local government. Following the opening ceremony, then we made our way to a very interesting museum to find out a little bit more about the automobile industry in China. At the museum, the group was introduced to the history of the Chinese car and truck industry. That was followed by a visit to the FAW manufacturing plant where we were admitted onto the work floor of the truck assembly line.

Watching the production line in action was really fascinating, from watching a truck being assembled from a basic frame, to seeing the finished product was a truly enjoyable experience.
