E-Fastpass comes soon to Shanghai Disneyland

Shanghai Disney Resort has announced that E-Fastpasses will be introduced at Shanghai Disneyland by the end of the year.

It means that visitors will be able to reserve their Fastpass via an app, and enter the park simply by scanning their phones, without having to collect physical tickets at specific locations.

It's reported that tourists will incur no extra cost by using the system, and Fastpass physical tickets will remain available for all tourists.

Disney Premier Access will also be made available for online purchase.

The existing version of Shanghai Disney Resort's official app allows visitors to "buy theme park tickets, see estimated waiting times for attractions and entertainment, view entertainment schedules, and browse interactive maps."

The Disney Fastpass and Disney Premier Access tickets let holders enjoy priority entry to certain attractions. Both are non-transferable and valid only on the day of issue.
