Mobike revealed that a test run of the new shared car service will be conducted in Guian New District and the main urban areas of Guiyang city in Guizhou Province. Customers can use their Mobike app to borrow, pay for, and return cars like they do with a shared bike.

Chairman of Guian New District Development & Investment Company, Zong Wen, said they would continue to "offer support in terms of policies, capital, and talent to build an intelligent shared transportation system, and make smart transportation a reality."

Co-founder and CEO of Mobike Technology Wang Xiaofeng noted, "Mobike is dedicated to exploring green transportation in a creative, cost-effective, and convenient way. By applying big data and the concept of the Internet of Things, Mobike shared cars will not only serve as a basic transportation tool, but also build Guian New Area and Guiyang city into a more livable eco-city."

In October, Mobike reached an agreement with Dida Pinche, a car-pooling platform based on big data, to precisely dispatch cars so as to achieve a dynamic balance between car supply and demand.
