Logo competition starts for national panda park
The forestry authorities in southwest China's Sichuan Province are now taking suggestions for a new logo for the planned Giant Panda National Park from all around the world, reports the Chinanews.com.
The global contest is designed to try to raise public awareness of wild panda protection, as well as promote the new Giant Panda National Park.

Details about the contest are available on the official website of the Forestry Department of Sichuan Province (http://www.scly.gov.cn).
The contest runs until May 31, 2018.
The winning logo will be awarded 100,000 yuan (around 15,400 USD). 10 others works will also be awarded 5,000 yuan.
China is working to establish a national park system and create a Giant Panda National Park spanning three provinces by 2020, covering the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu.
