HK police defuse wartime bomb found in Wan Chai
A Hong Kong bomb disposal team defused a wartime bomb at a Wan Chai construction site Sunday afternoon.

A total of 1,300 people had been evacuated before the operation.
According to a senior bomb disposal officer, the 450kg explosive is a remnant from the Second World War and could cause extensive damage.
The bomb was discovered at a building site for the Sha Tin-Central rail link. A construction worker reported it to police at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday.
