The report says that the construction was completed in less than four months, which is two or three times faster than it usually takes for projects of this size.

The new economic zone is being developed by China's central government with the goal of hosting government agencies, education services, and large businesses and financial institutions in a well-planned and environmentally sustainable space that will relieve Beijing of some of the pressures that have come with its development and growth.

Low-carbon emission and smart building technology was incorporated into the construction of the new center.

With a construction area of about 100,000 square meters, the service center was the first engineering project in the area. It will serve as a place for civil service work, exhibitions, and companies, the report said.
