China's further opening up unrelated to trade disputes with the US: Foreign Ministry
China's Foreign Ministry is denying speculation that China's measures to encourage further opening up are related to trade disputes with the United States.

Spokesperson Geng Shuang says the measures, which involve automobiles and intellectual property rights, are based on China's needs, according to China's schedule and in accordance with China's own plans.
He reiterates that China's doors will remain open and will only open wider.
The Ministry statement also says China's further opening up will not be influenced by external interference.
