China's frigate Huangshan departs for Australia's war games
At the invitation of the Royal Australian Navy, the People's Liberation Army Navy frigate Huangshan departed from Zhanjiang on Wednesday to attend Australia's premier multilateral naval war games, Exercise Kakadu 2018.

Exercise Kakadu 2018 is the 14th iteration of the biennial exercises hosted by Australia. This is the first time that China has been invited to attend the war games. The 16-day event will start on August 31.
China's domestically-developed 4,000 ton frigate Huangshan was commissioned in 2008.
