New study released on development of China-Africa ties
A new report, titled "The Study on China-Africa Development Cooperation in the New Era" was published on Friday, ahead of the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
The study is co-worked by the Research Institute for Global Value Chains, the Ministry of Commerce, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and experts from other international organizations and national institutes, in response to the doubts of some western countries that China loots African resources and occupies African market with cheap goods.

The report introduces new ideas relating to developments in cooperation between China and Africa in the fields of law, security, culture, and infrastructure construction, said Wu Yabin, the chief editor of the report.
The report calls for an improvement in the relationship between China and Africa so that it can become a new type of comprehensive strategic partnership that is mutually beneficial in helping the peoples of China and Africa reach their aspirations.
China's Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming said the report will contribute to cooperation between China and Africa in the new era, and promote further research in a wide range of related fields.
Wu Yabin emphasized that China is seeing mutually beneficial development in Africa that not only helps African companies to resolve their immediate difficulties, but also to improve their ability to independently push ahead with their economic development.
