Winter fun in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia

People of the Oroqen ethnic group in northern China host an ice and snow festival in Hulun Buir City on December 26. The annual winter festival involves sports competitions such as horse racing and snow surfing as well as traditional drum and dance performances unique to the Oroqen ethnic group.
