China, U.S. hold third round of phone talks on trade issues

Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and China's chief negotiator of the China-U.S. comprehensive economic dialogue, held a third round of phone talks on Thursday, with U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

The talks have made further substantive progress regarding the texts, the Xinhua News Agency reported.
