Sun made positive remarks on the role of Apple Inc. in promoting Sino-U.S. enterprises' cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.

China is willing to work with U.S. companies including Apple Inc. to advance bilateral cooperation in areas such as educational informationization, vocational education and training, and educational poverty alleviation, as well as jointly promote the development of Sino-U.S. relations "with coordination, cooperation and stability as the defining features," Sun said.

Cook spoke highly of China's great achievements in education and poverty alleviation and expressed a willingness to coordinate closely with the Chinese side to promote in-depth development of educational cooperation.
