World's largest underground water recycling system

A Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) water recycling factory is located under a piece of artificial wetland!

It's the world's largest underground water recycling factory and it's located in Fengtai District of Beijing.

Recycled water is widely used in industrial production, agricultural irrigation and public utilities. Sludge from the process is used in planting and mine rehabilitation.
