Trump meets with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He
U.S. President Donald Trump met with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He in the Oval Office on Thursday.

Liu He is in Washington for the ninth round of high-level economic and trade talks between China and the U.S..
Liu He first conveyed President Xi Jinping's greetings and message to President Trump. In his message, Xi called for early conclusion of talks on the text of a bilateral economic and trade agreement in the spirit of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.
Liu He also said that over the past two days, the two sides conducted fruitful consultations and reached new consensus on the text of an economic and trade agreement.
