The exhibition features over 400 cultural relics from countries in Asia and the ancient civilizations of Greece and Egypt. Among them, 109 Chinese relics will be exhibited until August 11.
This is the first time that China has hosted an exhibition on Asian civilization with the participation and cooperation of its Asian neighbors. The exhibition connects ancient and modern civilizations, and consists of four parts.

The first part highlights the historical and cultural characteristics of various countries, reflects the civilizations of the Indus and China Rivers, and interprets Asia as the beginning of human civilization.
The second and third parts show the cultural relics of the Silk Road and economic ties established by ancient China and other Asian countries.
The fourth part presents the gifts exchanged between the Chinese and their fellow Asian leaders.
The exhibition aims to tell stories of civilizations through cultural heritage, and build an important platform for Asian countries to understand each other. The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations will be held in Beijing on May 15.
