The statement follows a recent investigation launched by Chinese authorities against FedEx after the U.S. express company diverted Huawei parcels.
Wang Shouwen, China's Vice Minister of commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative, said all of the legitimate rights of foreign investors are protected under the country's foreign investment law, as long as they respect and abide by Chinese law.
