Xi: More China-Russia solutions to be put forth for international affairs

Chinese President Xi Jinping said Beijing is ready to join hands with Moscow in contributing more China-Russia solutions to international affairs.

President Xi said this in the Russian capital Wednesday while meeting his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

Xi also said that the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties is both a milestone and a new starting point, and that China is ready to work with Russia in unceasingly expanding the positive effects of high-level political links between the two countries and strengthening the sense of fulfilment of the two peoples.

Putin said Xi’s visit to Russia is of great significance to bilateral ties, which have reached an unprecedented height thanks to the concerted efforts of both sides.

Putin hosted a grand welcoming ceremony for Xi before they started a small-scale meeting at Kremlin.
