China honors university students and instructors

A total of 10 university students and 10 college instructors have been honored for their academic achievement, political study, social activities for public good and devotion to education.

The Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Ministry of Education released the list and stories of the students and instructors.

Liu Yi, who comes from Sichuan University, is one of the 10 students. Up to 23 of Liu's theses were included in the Scientific Citation Index and her scientific achievements have been used in major hydropower projects in China.

Fan Rui, an instructor from Shandong University, has written over 1,300 articles for students since 2006. "Students' trust is the best recognition to my work, and I would pay my patience and energy to them," said Fan.
