Different video programs produced by China Media Group (CMG) are now available on some mainstream media platforms of Japan.

The broadcasts coincide with the arrival of President Xi Jinping in Osaka for the coming G20 summit and his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday.

Japan’s oldest private TV company, NTV, has aired a special one-hour program it produced jointly with CMG. The program incorporates the Japanese version of the series “Classics Quoted by Xi”, which demonstrates the president's deep understanding of traditional Chinese culture as well as his thoughts on state governance.

CMG and Mainichi Broadcasting System have worked together on two special TV programs which feature cultural exchange activities between Chinese and Japanese youths. Available on Mainichi TV, the programs showcase the positive role that media can play in promoting friendship between the two peoples.

In addition, Japan’s Buzz Video has promoted three short videos produced by CMG, which include “Highlights of G20”, “Osaka Impressions” and “G20 Hot Spots”.
