The editorial entitled "American hegemony is the real threat to the international order" notes that "China is trying to uphold the current international order in the face of American attempts to undermine it; while the one entitled "Who's the real bully?" states that "the smear game played by some figures in the United States against China can't hide who the real bully is in international affairs."

The third editorial called "U.S. should focus on its own human rights violations" points to the problems of racial discrimination in the United States quoting a latest report based on detailed cases and figures. The commentary concludes that, given the domestic chaos that has resulted from the deep racism in American society, not to mention the widening divide between the poor and the rich, and problems of sexism, the United States should pay more attention to solving its own human rights issues and quit slandering other countries.

Since they were featured on CCTV, the three pieces have gone to make waves on Chinese social media, with many netizens voicing their support of the articles.

"This is the voice of China," commented a netizen, while another netizen praised the editorials as "sharp, incisive, and straight to the point."

"Commentaries on International Affairs were aired for three consecutive days. I've watched the segment so many times, but still can't take my eyes off it. Awesome," reads a comment.
