Ten-year-old boy saved his father with his own stem cell

In order to achieve the minimum requirement of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for his father Lu Yan, the boy had to put on 15kg in 3 months.

In July, the father and son went to Beijing for the treatment. Two months later, the father completed the bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at a branch of the Peking University People's Hospital. Lu Zikuan's mother told the Beijing News that after the transplantation, her son has been in good condition and lost weight as well.
