Over 13 million people enter or exit Macao through Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

The number of people going to and from Macao using the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has surpassed 13 million since it opened a year ago, the Macao Public Security Police Force announced on Thursday.

The security authority said the close cooperation between the customs authorities of Macao and the Chinese mainland has made travelling on the bridge very convenient.

As many as 78,000 people pass through the Macao port on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge each day, second only to the Border Gate port, according to the Macao authorities.
