Chinese vice premier to visit Turkey, Jordan, Iran and South Africa

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong is scheduled to make official visits to Turkey, Jordan, Iran and South Africa from April 17 to April 27, at the invitation of Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Yildirim Tugrul Turkes, Jordan's government, Iran's Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari, and the South African government, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced on Friday.

Geng Shuang said that Liu and South Africa's Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa, will cohost the first meeting of high-level cultural exchange mechanism between China and South Africa.
