Dou said the 13th NPC Standing Committee prioritized oversight on the enforcement of the Law on Atmospheric Pollution Prevention and Control last year. He said random inspections were conducted at 38 enterprises in 12 cities across the country. He said they also did questionnaire surveys and organized symposiums among experts and law enforcement personnel.
