Japanese-born American violinist Midori Goto, one of the most admired violinists around the globe, is soon set to stage a concert in Beijing, along with five other performers with the Vienna Philharmonic, later this month.

Their concert on March 31st marks the beginning of the 2017 International Classic Music Season sponsored by the Beijing Concert Hall.

Midori Goto made her debut at age 11 when world famous conductor Zubin Mehta added her to the program of the New York Philharmonic's New Year's Eve Gala back in 1982. Since then, she has been performing at the highest levels internationally.

During the 2017 International Classic Music Season, Chinese famous pianist Yin Chengzong is also expected to perform a solo show in November. He will play House of Flying Daggers, which he's adapted from Chinese folk music.

The classic music season is scheduled to open on March 31st and will run until December this year.
