Promotion song for Smurfs movie by Su Yunying released

"Blue Kids," a song for the latest smurfs animation: "Smurfs: The Lost Village" was released online on Monday.

The song was written and sung by singer Su Yunying, who was invited by the film's producer to create the music specifically for Chinese audiences.

Su said she was inspired by the joy of the smurfs after watching the movie. She combined simple lyrics and the style of electronic music with her distinguishable voice and subtle emotions to recreate the joy in the film.

Su rose to prominence in 2015 on a Chinese talent show, where she performed her own written debut song "Yezi" and won second place.

The 3D film will come out on April 21 in China.
