Crime thriller to close Beijing International Film Festival

"Battle of Memories," a movie that centers on a prestigious novelist who deletes the memory of his failed marriage, will be screened on Sunday, the closing day of this year's Beijing International Film Festival.

The ongoing film festival has selected two Chinese films, "Battle of Memories" and "This Is Not What I Expected," to mark its closing.

The former, directed by Leste Chen from Taiwan, features veteran actors Duan Yihong, Huang Bo and actresses Xu Jinglei and Yang Zishan. It's scheduled to hit theatres on the Chinese mainland on April 28th. 

Earlier during the film festival, the cast and the director of the sci-fi thriller, were in Beijing Jiaotong University, sharing behind-the-screen stories with students there.
