"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead," starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Shakespeare's "A Winter's Tale" with Oscar winner Dame Judi Dench, "Richard III" with Oscar nominee Ralph Fiennes, and "The Tempest" are among the new hit plays from Britain.
From Russia, there's the Moscow Art Theatre's production of "The Cherry Orchard." The Tony Award-winning revival production of "She Loves Me" from Broadway will also be shown in Chinese cinemas.

Theater live features video recordings of plays and screens them in cinemas, allowing the audience to enjoy theater from around the world without traveling.
The project was officially introduced to China in 2015. Since then, 39 venues in 21 cities have screened 23 productions during the past two years, attracting 150,000 viewers to more than 1,000 screenings.
