84-year old Artist Yuan Xia cast in a film about China's health care reform

84 years old veteran Chinese actress Yuan Xia is set to appear in a new film on medical reforms in China.

Shooting of the film "Ni Ruo An Hao" (你若安好) is now underway at a hospital in Beijing.

Yuan Xia plays a physician who has been giving health care advice to China's top leaders and their foreign guests for 40 years.

She says she's excited about the film, which is being shot to coincide with the forthcoming National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

"Ni Ruo An Hao," which reflects changes that take place in ordinary people's lives amid the reforms in the Chinese health care system, also stars actor Bao Jianfen and actress Sui Yuan.
