The festival will also see various performances by pianists Li Yundi and Folke Grasbeck, as well as dance groups including L.A. Dance Project and the National Theater Brno.
Shows, forums and workshops will also be staged in public places in Shanghai to bring people closer to the arts.
The Art Space project will witness over 90 shows including operas, symphonies, dances and dramas, all free to the public.
9 commissioned productions will be staged as part of the festival's Young Talents Program, which offers a platform for youth.
This year's event will officially begin on October 20.
