An art festival trying to interpret the complexity of the evolution of contemporary art in terms of structure is currently being held in Parkview Green Art space in Beijing.

A lot of artists including Ding Hao, Fan Xueyi and Fang Zhiyong, are exhibiting their artworks which are designed to express the artists' own understanding of the relationship between structure and contemporary art.

A Triangle, or three dots, was the starting point for these artists to create any possible pieces for the event titled "A Triple Play".

In geometry, the triangle is the most stable shape; however, the most stable shape can also become very unstable; when you look at the possibility of balance and imbalance, stability and instability, strength and weakness; elements that coexist within a triangle.

The rules of transformation of things are also mirrored in this art exhibition, which runs until Oct 31.
