Interview with director Wong Kar-wai at Beijing Int'l Film Festival

Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai is heading this year's jury at the Beijing International Film Festival.

In a recent interview, he talks about his expectations for this year's event.

"It's been a great honor to take part in the Beijing International Film Festival this year. The Chinese film market is developing very fast. I think it's important to hold such an event in Beijing, the center of Chinese film and culture."

Wong also hopes that the festival can be a big and vital platform for showcasing movies around the world.

The jury will review the 15 shortlisted films during this week.
