Grammy Festival debuts in China
The American pop-music Grammy Festival has landed in China for the first time, bringing award-winning musicians to Beijing.
The festival was held at the Changyang Music Theme Park on the second day of the International Labor Day holiday.

Grammy award-winning superstar Pharrell Williams was one of the artists performing at the festival.
The lineup also included other international acts such as One Republic, Carly Rae Jepsen, James Bay and Daya.
Chinese stars Nicholas Tse and William Chan also performed.
Imani Cheers is assistant professor of School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University.
"I would have thought that they would have done this a long time ago, acknowledging where again a large majority of these artists with their fans are based, but it's exciting to see that not only are they going to have this festival right now, but that they've already signed on to do four additional ones,” said Cheers, “so that tells them right there that the fans want it, it's going to be profitable, but it's also just really exciting to have this sort of platform for not only the artists, but also to introduce them to hopefully new and different fans that might not be familiar with their work."
Four more Grammy Festivals will be held in China in the future.
It's estimated that around 40-thousand people took part in this year's event.
