An international artistic gathering to take place in August

An international artistic gathering, sponsored by ASSITEJ - the 90-member International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People - is coming to Beijing in August.

During the week-long event, 17 productions from 10 countries including China, South Korea, and South Africa will stage more than 50 performances and other events.

Theatre workshops, multi-cultural dialogues, symposiums, and networking programs will also take place.

The cohost of these events is the China National Theatre for Children.

It is the first time for ASSITEJ to host its Artistic Gathering in China since the establishment of the association in 1965.
