Legendary pianist Rudolf Buchbinder will stage the complete piano concertos of Beethoven, in Beijing starting from tonight.

The 72-year old will collaborate with the China Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tu Song is the Program Director of Beijing Music Festival.

"He's good at exploration of Beethoven's works for piano. He told me this morning he plans to perform all five Beethoven Piano Concertos within a day in the season to mark Beethoven's 250th anniversary between 2019 and 2020. I hope his piano concertos will be a feast for the ears of audiences here in Beijing."

The Austrian musician is scheduled to perform on Wednesday and Thursday evening, with the performances also being shown on platforms including Tencent's video website.
