Perry said he wrote the role with Haddish in mind.

"When I wrote this, I wrote it for her,As I was writing it, I'd think, 'Oh, yeah. She's gonna love this' because I felt like I was writing for a 30-year-old Madea who could say whatever she wanted so I loved writing it for her and each time I was writing the characters and doing more development, this plot twist and all those things came so I'm excited about it."

With blistering speed, Haddish has become one of Hollywood's most in-demand talents. "Nobody's Fool" is her third film in theaters in just the last month.

Now 38, she says she has a goal to make 50 movies by the time she's 50.
