An American fantasy-thriller film 'The House with a Clock in its Walls' is hitting Chinese theatres in both IMAX 2D and 3D formats on Nov 1.

A Halloween Party-like premiere took place Wednesday evening in Beijing, attracting crowds of moviegoers.

The movie centers on a 10-year-old boy Lewis who goes to live with his oddball uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious ticktock noise. Later he accidentally reveals a secret and dangerous world of witches, warlocks and deadly curses.
