The Australian pop-rock band is experiencing a meteoric rise, riding high off the title track, which topped Billboard's pop songs chart for five straight weeks.

The band's Ashton Irwin said "We covered a lot of ground and on our third album, 'Youngblood,' has felt like it's been the most important thing that we released to date."
In June, 5 Seconds of Summer became the only non-vocal group in Billboard history with three studio albums to enter in the top spot. "Youngblood" debuted at No. 1 in the Top 200 chart - beating even Beyonce and Jay Z's "Everything Is Love" joint album.

The group toured with One Direction in 2013, which gave them their first claim to fame. At the time, the group said it was a "huge risk" leaving Australia where they were already a great success.

The band went on to release a self-titled album in 2014 and follow-up "Sounds Good Feels Good" the following year - both went platinum.
