Exhibition of a legendary late French-American artist lands in Beijing
A solo exhibition has been held for Niki de Saint Phalle, one of the most important feminist artists of the 20th century.
The exhibition includes near 100 pieces of art acquired from museums in Belgium, the U.S., and France.
The Franco-American sculptor, painter, and filmmaker began to create sculptures depicting women in 1965, inspired by a friend's pregnancy.
The colorful women sculptures are on display at the Today Art Museum in Beijing until March.
