Liam Hemsworth Thanks His Wife At G'day Usa Gala

Liam Hemsworth was honored Saturday (26 JAN 2019) at the 16th annual G'Day USA Gala, but made sure to give a shout out to his new bride while in the spotlight.

Actor Vince Vaughn introduced Hemsworth and jokingly questioned their friendship saying he wasn't invited to Hemsworth's alleged wedding to Miley Cyrus.

Cyrus held up her ring finger showcasing a wedding band in response.

During his acceptance speech, Hemsworth confirmed his marriage by thanking his "beautiful wife" Cyrus.

Fellow Australians Helen Reddy and Deborah Riley were also honored for their individual contributions to the US-Australia relationship.

G'Day USA was launched in 2004 and is a program that honors prominent Australians who have contributed to relations between the U.S. and Australia.

Past recipients include Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman and Kylie Minogue.
