K-Pop idol Seo Hyun holds fan meet in Hong Kong

K-pop idol Seo Hyun, former lead vocalist of girl group Girls' Generation, held her first solo fan meet in Hong Kong as part of the third leg of her 'MEMORIES' Asia Tour.

The 27-year-old performed her solo hit "Don't say no" to a throng of die hard fans, waving the SNSD official heart-shaped lightstick.

Several fans said they supported her decision to go solo, although they loved her in Girls' Generation.

It's been almost a decade since Girls' Generation's exploded on to the scene in 2009.

Since then, Girls' Generation has become one of South Korea's most recognized pop acts.

Seo Hyun recently left South Korean media mogul SM Entertainment to venture into acting - starring in the MBC drama "Time," with actor Kim Jung Hyun.
