The Toronto-based 9 Story Media Group has reached an agreement with Netflix on the global distribution of the animated series. France Television, the Spanish and Portuguese-language Canal Panda, Spanish CLAN, Swedish SVT, Thai True Visions, and Israeli HOP! have all acquired broadcasting rights for the series.

The show is named after its main character, a seven-year-old girl who sets off on a quest to use her imagination to better understand the world around her. Rather than using magic and superpowers, which have been popular storytelling tools in children's stories in recent years, Luo Bao Bei is an ordinary girl with whom young audiences can identify.

Bringing love and happiness to children and families around the world is at the core of this animation, said the show's creator Tian Jia.
