Ana Martinez, the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, recently confirmed that the 50-year-old actress will get a star beside the one for the legendary actress Anna May Wong at the corner of Hollywood & Vine. Wong was the first Chinese American actress to grace Hollywood's screens.

Liu will join Wong, along with Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, as the four Chinese actors to have been given a star.

Her star is scheduled to be unveiled on May 1 at a ceremony three weeks before the premiere of the final season of her hit Sherlock Holmes drama "Elementary."

The actress rose to fame in the '90s for her appearances in the Fox Network's comedy drama "Ally McBeal". Her work on the show earned her both Emmy and Screen Actors Guild nominations.
