Rogen spoke briefly about the film's diverse cast before going inside.
"I think it's important for us to have, you know, different types of people in our films, but yeah, it's a good coup in – we deserve more credit, I think."
Tristan D. Lalla was happy to make the film in his hometown. "I'm the only Canadian cast member, besides Seth, I guess. We're the only two Canadians in the film. Everybody that plays an American is not an American in this movie. Isn't that some crazy? Charlize, Andy Serkis, none of us. Anyway, I'm the only Canadian cast member in the top ten of the cast list, and for Montreal, that's a big thing," he said.
Theron and Rogen also served as producers on the film.
The two play an unlikely match in the new romantic comedy, which centers on the relationship between Fred Flarsky and Charlotte Field.
"Long Shot" opens in US theaters tomorrow.
