William and Kate react to royal baby birth

Prince William and his wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, have congratulated Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, on the birth of their baby boy.

William said he was "thrilled" to welcome the latest addition to the family.

"Uncle - second time for me. Obviously, thrilled, absolutely thrilled," said William, "And looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quieted down. I'm very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting, so yeah, that will be fun. There is plenty of advice, but no, I wish them all the best and I hope the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a newborn in their family, and all the, sort of, joys that come with that."

William and Kate were attending the launch of the King's Cup in southeast London.

The royals were seen joining children and youngsters taking part in a simulated sailing race and later unveiled The King's Cup trophy.
