An upcoming American monster film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" marks a step of transformation for horror movie star Vera Farmiga who is taking a try at a monster film.
Farmiga is an award-winning American actress who often makes appearances in thrillers, like Orphan and The Conjuring 3.
She was in Beijing promoting Godzilla.
"For me, most important in the role was to see her as first and foremost role in life as a mother. To me, the story rang like an ode to maternity, and the commitment and the love and the sacrifice that it takes. She makes the choices that she makes as an expert scientist and as an expert mother."
