Bocelli to perform "Nessun Dorma" at Asian Culture Carnival
The Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, the fourth tenor, is set to lead a chorus of the classic opera "Nessun Dorma" from "Turandot" on Wednesday night at the Asian Culture Carnival.

"Nessun Dorma" is a globally well-known classic that has been performed many times by Andrea Bocelli in China to enthusiastic applause.
With next year marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, Bocelli says he was glad to see a strengthening of bilateral cultural ties, and looks forward to seeing more cooperation among the artists of the two countries.
He noted that communication plays an important role in cultural exchanges, and that music is a universal language. He went on to say that music can promote mutual understanding between different cultures, and mutual understanding is the cornerstone of world peace, stability, and harmony.
