The 15-year-old "Stranger Things" star said the 30-plus Godzilla movies made since the reptilian monster was first seen on-screen in 1954 don't capture his full impact.
"Imagine all the others that like teenage boys have created in their bedroom with Legos, you know?"said Brown,"So for me, it's part of a love story with all of these incredible movies and these diehard fans that literally come here, not to see any of us, but to see that monster. I think it's so powerful".

Other cast members pondered the odd feeling of reporting to work on a film whose titular star is being crafted off-site by computer graphics artists.
O'Shea Jackson Jr. wore a Godzilla gold chain on the black carpet. Jackson said the film is a "coming-of-age story" for Brown's character, along with "the best monster pay-per-view money can buy."
"Godzilla: King of the Monsters" opens in U.S. theatres on May 31.
